Muffle Furnace Hot Air Sterilizer (Laboratory Electric Oven Universal Type)

A muffle furnace is a furnace that has its charge inside a muffle and the heat source outside. The charge is kept separate from the flame.
Muffle furnaces are used in laboratories to burn or incinerate samples. They can be used to determine the amounts of volatile solids or fixed solids in wastewater samples.
A 6x6x12 inch muffle furnace has the following specifications:
  • Melting material: Aluminum
  • Material loading capacity: As per specifications
  • Power source: Electric
  • Rated power: 2 Kw
  • Voltage: 230V
  • Display type: Digital
  • Type: Mechanical convection
  • Material: Cast iron, galvanized steel
  • Capacity: 10
  • Temperature range: 1150c’
Muffle furnaces are made of brick and ceramic to tolerate high temperatures. The sample to be analyzed is kept in a crucible bowl that comes with the machine. The bowl can withstand high temperatures without affecting the sample.
